High frequency vacuum wood drying kiln represents an innovative woodworking machine designed for swift wood drying, combining the advantages of high frequency wave drying, rapid drying and vacuum drying, low-temperature drying. This dual approach results in significant time and energy savings. With high-frequency waves penetrating wood deeply, it outpaces steam drying in speed and uniformity. The vacuum, operating at lower temperatures, efficiently draws out wood moisture, doubling heating efficiency. Post-drying, the wood exhibits no cracks, shrinkage, or color changes. Particularly effective for various wood types, including large square beams, hardwood, veneer, and rosewood.

High frequency vacuum wood drying kiln is exceptionally well-suited for secondary drying processes, requiring 10 to 20 hours depending on wood species, thickness, and moisture contents. With low power costs, a rapid wood turnover rate, convenient operation, and a space-saving design, it stands out as the optimal choice for wood drying across various scales of furniture manufacturers.

Differences between high frequency vacuum drying and other drying methods

High frequency drying utilizes internal heating, allowing water to heat itself, which is entirely distinct from conventional external heating methods (conductive drying methods).

High frequency drying raises the temperature inside the wood higher than its surface, coupled with a pressure difference, enhancing the transfer speed of wood moisture from the inside to the outside. This method is more effective and conducive to efficient heating.

During high frequency wood drying, the distance between two layers of electrodes is maintained at 250-350mm, with the capability to extend up to 500mm. This substantial distance is particularly advantageous for thick wood and hard wood drying, a capability not easily achieved with other drying methods.

High frequency heating results in a lower temperature gradient within the wood compared to normal heating methods, significantly reducing inner stress. This feature makes the wood less susceptible to cracking.

High frequency vacuum wood drying kiln is equipped with a hydraulic press. Throughout the drying process, it applies pressure to the wood, ensuring straightness. Post-drying, it retains the wood’s straightness and can make slight corrections if needed.

Operating under vacuum conditions lowers the vaporization temperature, enabling low-temperature wood drying. The combination of high frequency and vacuum helps safeguard wood from issues like cracking, bending, and color changes.
